Our Work

"Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverb 22:6

The number of children worldwide without families to love and care for them is overwhelming. There are approximately 153 million children in the world who have been identified as orphans. In the United States alone there are over 500,000 children in the foster care system. Each year between 20,000 and 30,000 of these foster care children age out of the system and are left to navigate the world alone. It is obvious that orphans in other parts of the world especially Africa, do not have any chance whatsoever of being adopted or put in foster care. Although every one of these numbers is too large to truly grasp, we believe that we can make a difference in the lives of orphans, one orphan at a time.

Window Of Hope America Orphans was created with one common purpose, to act on behalf of orphans/widows. We will do this by sponsoring children from elementary and secondary schools to technical schools up to university level, and even help with job placements upon graduation. Our goal is to help them succeed through individualized counseling, mentoring, and tutoring. As for the widows, we will implement a hand up project and NOT just hand outs, sustainable solutions, NOT just maintenance mode and work with mentors to teach them enterprise, NOT just aid.

It is therefore our prayer that through this organization we can provide hope to many orphans/widows and that the hope and love of God will be evident in all that we do. Our yearly goal and prayer is to add an unlimited number of neediest orphans to WOHA organization as The Lord Jesus directs.
