"Defend the Cause of Orphans..." - Isaiah 1:17

“Every human being below the age of 18 years is defined as a child” and The Convention of the Rights of a Child is the most endorsed human rights treaty in the world. (UNICEF) The number of children worldwide without families to love and care for them is overwhelming. There are approximately 153 million children in the world who have been identified as orphans. Children who have lost their parents face extraordinary hardships, and there has never been a more important time to make a difference in their lives than now.

 

As a part of supporting children’s rights, WOHA seeks to create opportunities for orphans and we are committed to look for willing sponsors to help us accomplish this goal. We want to make sure each of the orphans know that there is someone in this world that cares for them. When children find out they have been sponsored, the joy they feel is indescribable. Just knowing that someone across the globe cares means more than you can imagine. Please join us to give hope to these orphans.
